Local and national delivery. Last updated 20 October 2026

1. Our delivery options

We offer two delivery services: local delivery and national delivery. Which one you get depends on your postcode. The checkout will show the right option and price automatically.

| Local delivery | National delivery |
Who delivers | Our own vehicle | A third-party courier or pallet carrier |
Where | Postcodes listed below | Mainland UK outside the local area |
Price | [LOCAL PRICE] | Calculated at checkout by size, weight and distance |
Delivery day | Booked with you, usually [X] working days | Estimated by the carrier, usually [X] to [X] working days |
Tracking | We will message you when we are on our way | Tracking details sent by email |
Handling | Carried to the kerbside or nearest safe point | Kerbside or ground-floor delivery by the carrier |

2. Local delivery

Local delivery is made by us, in our own vehicle, to customers in the following postcode districts:

BA1, BA2, BA3, BA4, BA5, BA6, BA7, BA8, BA9, BA10, BA11, BA12, BA13, BA14, BA16, BA20, BA21, BA22, TA10, TA11, TA12, TA13, TA18, TA19, DT9, BS27, BS28, SN12, SP8

We will contact you to agree a delivery day. Because we carry the panels ourselves, we can usually offer quicker and more flexible delivery than a courier, and your panels are handled by us from our stock to your door. If your postcode is not on this list, national delivery applies.

3. National delivery

Outside our local area, we send your order by a third-party courier or pallet carrier to mainland UK addresses. The carrier is chosen to suit the size and weight of your order. Panels travel packaged and protected, but because they pass through the carrier's network, delivery times are the carrier's estimates, not guarantees.

We do not currently deliver to Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man or outside the UK. Please contact us if you need delivery to one of these places and we will see what we can arrange.

4. The difference in short

Local means we bring it to you ourselves, within our own area, at a set local price. National means we hand it to a carrier, so the price is based on the parcel and distance, and timing is set by the carrier.

5. Dispatch times

Orders are normally dispatched within [X] working days. Delivery time starts from dispatch, and we will tell you if an item is not in stock. Orders placed after [TIME] or at weekends are processed the next working day.

6. Delivery charges

Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay. Prices depend on the size and weight of your order and where it is going. We do not charge VAT because we are not VAT registered.

7. When your order arrives

Panels are heavy. Please make sure someone is available to receive the order and that there is safe access for a vehicle. Deliveries are to the kerbside or the nearest safe point unless we agree otherwise in writing, so you may need help moving the panels. Check your order before the driver leaves. If anything looks damaged, write "damaged" or "unchecked" on the delivery note, and report it to james@panelstock.uk within 48 hours with photographs.

8. Missed or failed deliveries

If no one is available, or we cannot reach your address, we will try to contact you. We may charge for redelivery, and orders not collected or accepted after repeated attempts may be returned to us. Return and storage costs may then be deducted from your refund.

9. Delays

We will do our best to deliver on time, but we cannot guarantee exact delivery dates. We are not responsible for delays outside our control, such as severe weather, road closures, or carrier problems. We will keep you informed if your order is delayed.

10. Questions

If you have any questions about delivery, or you are not sure which option applies to you, contact us at james@panelstock.uk or on 07776 099040.
